Friday January 31st at 8:00 PM Shabbat Service Celebrate the spirit and joy of Shabbat with your Beth Am family. On this night, we will read from Torah portion Bo. This week we will learn not only about the laws of Passover, but we will explore what it means to devote ourselves to something bigger than personal gain. The beauty and thrill of the day are open to congregants and non-congregants alike. Rejoice with us. __________________
Friday February 7th at 7:00 PM Family Service Led By The 5th Grade Celebrate “Family Shabbat” with guitar, stories and fun! On this special night, our 5th graders will lead our service, showing all of us their connection to and appreciation for the Jewish prayers. This family service is geared toward children in first grade and above. Hope to see you there. __________________
Thursday February 13th at 6:30 PM Tu BiSh'vat Seder Celebrate the birthday of the trees with this creative ritual. We will joyfully celebrate this holiday by sampling fruits and wines (and grape juice) of all types, and hear special readings that remind us of our responsibility to care for the earth. Congregants and non-congregants alike are invited to take this journey with Rabbi Robbie. No previous knowledge is required, and all backgrounds are welcome. __________________
Friday February 14th at 5:30 PM Welcoming Shabbat For Tots Come fill the sanctuary with your tots, as we welcome and celebrate this special day. Using movement, music, and ruach (spirit), Rabbi Robbie and Rebbetzin Ellen utilize that special "Shabbat Spirit” and follow it up with dinner. The only cost is a Shabbat Shalom smile. All are welcome. __________________
