Friday, November 15th at 8:00 PM Shabbat Service With The Choir Come fill the sanctuary and hear the beautiful music of our choir. On this Shabbat, we will pray together and sing beautiful melodies enriched by our Temple Choir. We will also read from the Torah portion Vayeira. This Torah portion addresses the many tests Abraham had to endure. Come discuss what it means to be tested. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Friday, November 22nd at 8:00 PM Shabbat Service Come fill the sanctuary with your blessed presence. On this Shabbat, we will read from the Torah portion Chayei Sarah. This Torah portion addresses death, marriage, and so much more. Join us as we discuss the effect of life-cycle on our lives.
Sunday, November 24th at 5:00 PM Yorktown Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration At this service, the entire Yorktown faith community will come together to celebrate the value of Thankfulness and that we are a "No Place For Hate" community. This year, the service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Mohegan Lake. Through Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Buddhist prayers, we will gather to show our appreciation for all we have and for all the blessings around us. Monetary donations will be collected for the local food pantries. All are welcome.
