A quick look at our upcoming Shabbat and special services

October 4th at 7:00 PM
Family Shabbat Service
At this special Shabbat service, we will celebrate Shabbat with guitar, stories and fun! This service, geared for families with children in 1st-5th grade, utilizes a creative and dynamic prayerbook filled with special readings and songs. The beauty and thrill of Shabbat are open to congregants and non-congregants alike, so come rejoice with us.

October 8th and 9th
Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement
Come engage in the Jewish Day of Atonement with Temple Beth Am. Our spiritually uplifting Kol Nidre Service begins on October 8th at 8 pm. Yom Kippur Morning services, which will include Yizkor, take place at 10 AM on October 9th. Both services are held at Yorktown Stage. Children’s services begin at 2 PM at Temple Beth Am. Also at 2 PM, there will be an Adult Discussion group held at Temple Beth Am. Afternoon and concluding services begin at 3:45 PM at Temple Beth Am.  All are invited to participate in this holiest of days. For ticket information, please call the office at 962-7500.

October 11th at 5:30 PM
Tot Shabbat Celebrates Sukkot
Come fill the sanctuary with your tot for “Welcoming Shabbat” as we celebrate shabbat and the holiday of Sukkot. Rabbi Robbie and Rebbetzin Ellen help bring in the Shabbat and Sukkot with that special "Shabbat Spirit”. Come sing with silliness as we shake the Lulav and Etrog!!! The only cost of the dinner is a Shabbat Shalom smile.

Shabbat Service
Come fill the sanctuary with your blessed presence. On this Shabbat, we will read from the Torah portion Ha'azinu. In this portion, Moses gives his concluding words before leaving the Israelites.  Come discuss the beauty and importance of legacy. Looking forward to seeing you there.
