September 20th at 8:00 PM Shabbat Service and Bat Mitzvah of Annabelle Newberger On this night, Temple Beth Am will celebrate the Shabbat with ruach and spirituality. Additionally, on this Shabbat, we will celebrate with the Newberger family as Annabelle becomes a Bat Mitzvah. We will also explore Torah Portion Ki Tavo, which reminds us of our covenental relationship with God.The beauty and thrill of the Shabbat are open to congregants and non-congregants alike, so come rejoice with us. _______________________________________
September 27th at 8:00 PM Shabbat Service and Bat Mitzvah of Carly McGirr Your Temple is the place to be for Shabbat. Come be inspired and engaged. Also on this Shabbat, we will celebrate with the McGirr family as Carly becomes a Bat Mitzvah. We will also explore Torah Portion N'tzavim, which reminds us of the true power of choice. Thursday, September 26th at 7:30 PM Selichot - A High Holy Day Night Of Preparation With Dr. Beryl Levinger “Who Do We Pray To When We Pray to God?” Prepare for the holy days not only by buying your honey and round challahs. Come be a part of this amazing night with guest teacher and friend, Professor Beryl Levinger. Dr. Levinger will help us explore some important questions: Is there a Book of Life? September 29th and 30th Rosh Hashanah – The Jewish New Year Come celebrate the Jewish New Year with Temple Beth Am. Our spiritually uplifting evening service begins on September 29th at 8 PM. Rosh Hashanah Morning service, which will include the blowing of the Shofar, takes place at 10 AM on September 30th. Both services are held at the Yorktown Stage. Children’s services begin at 2 PM at Temple Beth Am. Our communal Tashlich will take place at 3 PM at Sparkle Lake. All are invited to come celebrate the New Year.
