A quick look at our upcoming Shabbat and special services
September 6th at 7 PM Family Shabbat Dinner, Service, and Bar Mitzvah of Jackson Bieber At this special Shabbat service, we will welcome everyone back to a new program-filled year! This service, geared for families with children in 1st-5th grade, utilizes a creative and dynamic prayerbook filled with special readings and songs. Also, as a community, we will celebrate Jackson becoming a Bar Mitzvah. Come celebrate with the Bieber family all that Jackson has accomplished. Preceding the service, the Religious School is hosting a special Shabbat dinner at 6 PM to welcome all of us back. Please RSVP for the dinner to Cantor Jamie at jamietallen@gmail.com. September 13th at 5:30 PM Welcoming Shabbat For Tots Come fill the sanctuary with our tots for “Welcoming Shabbat,” as we welcome the Jewish New Year and celebrate Shabbat. Using movement, music, and ruach (spirit), Rabbi Robbie and Rebbetzin Ellen help bring in the New Year and Shabbat with that special "Shabbat Spirit” followed by a Shabbat dinner. The only cost of the dinner is a Shabbat Shalom smile. All are welcome. ___________________
September 13th at 8:00 PM Shabbat Service and Bat Mitzvah of Olivia O'Hara Come experience our modern Shabbat service with its spiritual and engaging feel. Also on this Shabbat, we will celebrate with the O'Hara family as Olivia becomes a Bat Mitzvah. Additionaly, we will delve into Torah Portion Ki Tztzei, which challenges us to consider the spirituality that exists even in the most mundane acts of daily life. Come join us for an uplifting Shabbat Service. _____________________
September 20th at 8:00 PM Shabbat Service and Bat Mitzvah of Annabelle Newberger On this night, Temple Beth Am will celebrate the Shabbat with ruach and spirituality. Additionally, on this Shabbat, we will celebrate with the Newberger family as Annabelle becomes a Bat Mitzvah. We will also explore Torah Portion Ki Tavo, which reminds us of our covenental relationship with God.The beauty and thrill of the Shabbat are open to congregants and non-congregants alike, so come rejoice with us. _______________________________________
