BIRTHRIGHT 2013-2014

Looking ahead, registration for the Winter/Spring 2013-2014 season will be opening on September 10th. Please let us know if you want us to refer your application to Kesher, which will give the applicant priority trip selection status.  Since there is funding for approximately half of Birthright applicants, this priority status offer can be a very valuable tool to assist members of your community seeking to travel on Birthright this winter.

If someone you know is eligible and not yet registered, please encourage them to apply now for Taglit-Birthright Israel with URJ Kesher at

The program is open to Jewish young adults, ages 18-26 and who have never been to Israel on a peer program. The URJ Kesher experience embraces the values of Reform Judaism.

and for applicants with special needs click here  Yachad is offering a Birthright trip 12-29-13 thru 1-09-14 for applicants with special needs.  Contact Julie Woogen at the office, if you want more information - her son is very likely to go on this trip and she has spoken with the sponsors about it.  The deadline to apply for an application for this trip is September 9, 2013.
