The New Pope: A Talk with Monsignor Thomas Sandi

With the changing of a Pope, come new challenges for the Catholic Church, her people, and the Jewish community, as well.  Thomas Sandi is the Monsignor for not only his Church in Shrub Oak but also this entire area.  He has graciously accepted our invitation to speak about the new Pope and the new challenges he faces.  Come be a part of what will surely be an intimate and interesting discussion.

Happy Spring, Ladies~

We will not be having our regular sisterhood meeting on Tuesday, May 14 because there is a special Shavout service that evening.

Since we have all been having a bit of cabin fever, a sisterhood family hike would be a nice change.  This hike will take place on Sunday, May 19 at 9:00 am.  We will all meet at the main parking lot at Teatown.  Come and join us for some fresh air and exercise.  Children ages seven and up are invited to accompany their parents (moms and/or dads) on this hike.  We will be hiking about  2 miles around the lake at an easy pace.
