                                                                                       Special Message from Rabbi Weiner

As we digest the tragedy in Boston, we feel shocked and saddened. Here in Yorktown, I know I feel the need to be close to community. With that in mind, we will be holding an open forum beginning at 4:30 on Wednesday for those of us that just need some time to unpack this horrific event. Also, at this Friday evening's regular Shabbat service, we will be remembering those lost as well as saying special prayers for those in Boston that are in need of healing. Additionally, if anyone feels that they just need to talk to any of the clergy, feel free to reach out to us. Lastly, we are currently working on ways that we can actively help those in Boston. I hope you will help in whatever endeavors develop over the coming days. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone in Boston.
