Seventh graders are continuing with their second unit rotation.  The three sections are the following:
Mitzvah Class with Ms. Lerner
Holocaust Studies with Ms.Gartner
Israel with Ms. Wilbur

Seventh graders have Table Talk Time every Thursday, where they enjoy pizza and discuss current events through a Jewish lens.

We start every session with tefilah and Torah study, where we discuss the weekly Torah portion .  We are just finishing our study of Genesis and will be moving on to Exodus in January. Ask your child about sibling rivalry in the Torah!

Seventh graders have a service attendance requirement to help them prepare for their b'nei mitzvah services. All seventh graders are expected to attend 7 Friday night or Saturday morning Shabbat services during the school year.
Thank you to Rabbi Robbie for talking with our students about the Somers vandalism incident. Reflecting on and responding to moments like these is an important role of our TBA community.

Chai school session three begins  his week. We will be working on finding make-up dates for last week's session.  Please watch your emails for details.

Session three dates:  January 14, 28, Feb. 4 (January 21 is a whole school day at 5:30).
