Celebrate the Restoration of our Czech Torah!

Our celebration will be held at Temple Beth Am
on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 4:00pm
There will be a service to rededicate our beautifully restored Torah!
Kol Rinah, the Jewish Community Chorus of Westchester County, will be singing!
There will be dancing and refreshments!

On September 28, 1967,
Temple Beth Am held a ceremony dedicating a Torah Scroll it
had just received -- one of 1,564 Torah scrolls rescued from Czech Jewish communities
that were destroyed during the Holocaust.
On December 14, 2008,
we will celebrate as this Czech Torah, newly restored by our
congregation, is welcomed back into our sanctuary.
