Our league is made up of some dynamite bowlers, average bowlers
and "less than average" bowlers – so we all fit in!
The TBAs (that’s our league’s name) will be bowling on the fourth Saturday of each month – September 2008 through June 2009. This will be our ninth year of league bowling.
Practice begins at 7p.m. • Bowling begins at 7:15p.m. sharp .
Our location for next fall is Cortlandt Lanes. JV Lanes has raised their league prices significantly. Nancy Young has determined that financially it does not make sense to return to Jefferson Valley, which was closed due to extensive roof damage.
Please understand that you are obligated to pay $40 per month per couple even if you don’t bowl, as we are contracted to pay for the lanes that are reserved for our league. (Sorry!) Substitutes will be allowed if you prefer. You must arrange for your own substitutes but please let Nancy Young know in advance. Please also contact Nancy about anything related to your scores or handicap.
There will be an end-of-the-year Awards Dinner, most likely in mid-July. A small portion of your fees ($10 per month per couple) will go towards this lovely evening, along with our monthly 50/50 raffle proceeds. Anyone unable to join us will have the $10 monthly portions refunded.
